Matthew Rensberry, MD, board-certified family medicine physician, earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus and completed a family medicine residency at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, Texas. During his residency, he achieved Chief Resident status, served not only as a resident physician to the United States Army, but was deployed to Iraq/Kuwait as a brigade surgeon. Upon his return to the States, Dr. Rensberry was a medical director at Fort Benning, Georgia and also functioned as an adjunct professor for the Martin Army Family Residency Program, teaching future physicians.
He brings impressive accolades from his experience in the armed services, as well as following his deployment. His passion for preventive health for both the body and mind are evidenced in his extensive research and presentations conducted. With advanced course work and medical training, combined with active professional memberships, Dr. Rensberry is sure to keep both fellow physicians and patients at “attention.” Fluent in English and Spanish.
